Good morning! I’ve been quite absent on my own blog and it’s been a productive last couple of weeks for myself. I have been in the process of starting a small business and working on home projects. I don’t want to completely go into detail about the business I’m trying to start. I’ll reveal more as time goes by and I feel comfortable speaking about it. All I can say is that through my affirmations and positive thinking and of course through my creator, greater events in my life have begun manifesting and much greater is yet to come. Never give up hope, the American dream still exists, it only takes a great portion of self belief and not doubting your ability to accomplish something greater.
So far I have had a few clients, and what I have learned is that we shouldn’t be afraid of failing or not impressing the client with our quality of work. 9/10 times your quality will be up to standard, that 1/10 you might make a choice under that standard, but that can most times be fixed. If the client is still not satisfied, the worst that can happen is that you get kicked of the property and asked to not provide services for them again. Although this is most likely not going to happen, I am only saying that if it does, it’s not a big deal. In fact, it’s not like getting fired or laid off from a company that you work for. With running your own business, you’ll most likely find new clients and start fresh without losing much money. I like what Warren Buffet has to say about having a job, “Never depend on a single income. Make investments to create a second source.”. He is absolutely right having hope in only one job is absolutely erroneous in our living. We need to throw our eggs in many other places. We might not see success overtime, but success will appear once we learn to not rely on one job, but to expand on our opportunities. One last quote from Warren Buffet and I’ll stop, “No matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time. You can´t produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.”. We can plant so many types of seeds in our garden, but it’s not until the season when we’ll see the produce. Patience, time, self-belief, perseverance will enrich us into another level. We never stop growing and producing. We just keep moving forward and learn how to overcome new obstacles and challenges.
Before we start knocking out our goals and aspirations, I firmly believe we have to realize that we’re in a form or level of hell called comfort until we can accomplish something greater and be in the path of financial independence. Like most people when we lose a job, or similar to that degree, we typically don’t stress about it right away, but as soon as the financial funds become low we start to look for something else to save ourselves from a financial pickle. So we don’t have these “financial pickles” let’s think ahead and start hustling based on our accord to leave this comfort zone/hell/trap. Let’s be bigger than the 9-5 grind that our teachers and peers have brainwashed us to embrace, let’s seek a way to not only be politically free, but to be finally independent and not reliant on a conglomerate that is in the end only on the side of the corporation not the worker. Don’t consider yourself to just be a “worker” or “employee”, change that mentality and add some new vocabulary. If you look at your birth certificate, every letter of your first and last name are capitalized. I hate to break it to you, you are seen as a corporation that is being used for the greater good of a bigger corporation. Acknowledge that you are a corporation on paper and become like a bigger corporation, your world and surroundings will evolve. Better things are out there for us only if we acknowledge that we are in hell (comfort zone, 9-5 grind, etc) and need heaven (financial independence, start a business, start a hustle, write music, produce art, be happy within, be our truest self, etc). Try as many things in your life as you can, don’t limit yourself to just one.
Before I end up ending this post, I urge you to not tell people your next move, within time they’ll hear about it. Like in the New Testament, there is a saying, “never allow the left hand know what the right hand is doing”. Step one: acknowledge that you are in a form of hell. Step 2: tell no one especially your close ones what you’re about to do and execute your action. Like biggie says in his song “ten crack commandments”, “Rule Number Zuni, never let no one know How much dough you hold cause you know The cheddar breed jealousy ‘specially if that man f***** up, get yo’ ass stuck up”. Another quote I like what Biggie says, “. . . Don’t tell other people how much money you make off dealing. They will scheme and try to rob you out of jealousy or greed. . .”. He might be speaking about dealers, but this can absolutely apply to us pursuing certain aspirations, starting a business, traveling the world. Let’s face it, if regular people get jealous then we need to accept the fact that even our close ones will get jealous about us. Let’s say less and get action done. The people we can trust will naturally attract, but doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be family that we’ll trust. Step 3: keep moving forward and establishing new goals and interests. The pursuit for greatness is never over. So much better can come out of life. If the creator created this world, then we can ask him for his instruction and be like him, so we can create our destiny and accept the opportunities we have been granted. Always seek for wisdom, she’ll help you to discern.
Proverbs 4: 1 Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.3 When I was a boy in my father’s house, still tender, and an only child of my mother,4 he taught me and said, “Lay hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live.5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them.6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. The father within you has given you instruction and the mother has given you wisdom. Use the knowledge wisely. Don’t be like everyone else. Be different, and walk in righteousness (liberty and a slave to no one) stay away from wickedness (working your whole life for a car payment, home, 9-5 grind, slave to a master that can replace you within moments)
